1. Preface

You're receiving this email because you purchased a product from Rogue Amoeba (http://www.rogueamoeba.com) in the past. As always, if you want off this list, please visit: http://www.rogueamoeba.com/company/lists/maclist.php

Just remove yourself and accept our humble apologies for taking your time. Once removed, you won't receive a newsletter from us ever again.

Introduction

Alright then! Rogue Amoeba CEO/ Lackey Paul Kafasis talking to you again to share a bit of news from the amoebas.

2. Radioshift - Radio On Your Schedule

News has been relatively quiet here at Rogue Amoeba, as we've been busy on several major projects in the past few months. One of those projects is finally ready to see the light of day - allow me to introduce Radioshift!

In one sentence, Radioshift is like a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) for radio. Using Radioshift, you can timeshift radio content, recording it and listening to it whenever you like. The key to Radioshift is its Radio Guide, enabling you to explore over 50,000 radio listings from around the world.

As you're exploring, you can listen live to streams without worrying about the format of the stream - Radioshift supports RealAudio, Windows Media, QuickTime, and MP3 streams, all in one player. Better still, you can click to subscribe to audio right from the guide and have it automatically recorded for you, with no difficult setup. Radioshift records in the background and has your audio waiting for you whenever you want it.

While Audio Hijack Pro previously made it possible to timeshift radio content, Radioshift aims to bring recording to the masses, by making it a snap to accomplish. Radioshift builds on what we've learned developing Audio Hijack Pro and adds the powerful Radio Guide to create an incredible application for recording radio streams. Audio Hijack Pro is still being developed, with a focus on recording all types of live audio. But if you're most interested in recording radio, Radioshift is for you.

Radioshift is available for immediate download and purchase, for just just $32. We hope Radioshift sounds good to you. You can grab the trial right from our site and test it out:

http://www.rogueamoeba.com/radioshift/

Radioshift is a wholly new application, not an upgrade to anything we're currently doing. However, we're happy to offer a special introductory price for our loyal readers. Give Radioshift a whirl, then use coupon code RADIOFIVE before October 15th to purchase for just $27. After that, just enjoy and watch for updates - we're just getting started with Radioshift!

3. Last Chance For Audio Hijack Pro Users To Save On Fission

We introduced Fission, our effortless audio editor, just over a year ago. If you missed it, Fission makes it easy and fast to edit MP3, AAC, AIFF/WAV, and Apple Lossless files, all with no quality loss. Free of the glut of unnecessary features found in high-end editors, and with a much more affordable price, Fission has proven to be a hit around the Mac world. If you've never used it, check it out at http://www.rogueamoeba.com/fission/

We sell a bundle of Audio Hijack Pro and Fission for the ridiculously low price of $50, and when we introduced Fission we also offered the same discount ($14 off) for existing users of Audio Hijack Pro. Over 15% of existing Audio Hijack Pro owners have taken advantage of this offer, and that's great.

That fabulous discount runs out October 15th, however. If you own Audio Hijack Pro and have been considering Fission, now is the time to buy.

Try out Fission, then go to the URL below and enter your Audio Hijack Pro license information. Once you do, you'll be able to purchase Fission for just $18.

This deal is no longer available.

Deal Summary
Savings: Fission for $18 (regularly price at $32)
Who's Eligible: Users who already own Audio Hijack Pro
   Purchase By: October 15th, 2007

4. Closing

That's all for now! I always close these newsletters with a thank you, and I always mean it, but we're feeling especially grateful to you all right now. Next week we'll be celebrating our fifth anniversary of serving great Mac users like you and having fun doing it, and that's thanks to you guys. So thank you for your support and thanks for reading!
