Boston, MA - Rogue Amoeba is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Airfoil Remote, an iOS companion application for our popular Airfoil for Mac audio streamer. Every day, tens of thousands of users stream audio all around their houses with Airfoil for Mac. One of their most frequent feature requests has been the ability to control remote speakers wirelessly, with an iOS device. That's now possible, with Airfoil Remote.
With Airfoil Remote, users can control Airfoil running on their Macs with any iOS device. From anywhere in the house, speakers can be turned on or off, their volumes can be adjusted, and even the source application from which Airfoil is pulling audio can be changed. As well, Airfoil Remote can control over a dozen audio sources playing through Airfoil, including Spotify, Rdio, and many more!

Airfoil Remote can be purchased through Apple's iOS App Store for just $4.99. It's fully universal and compatible with all iPhones, iPads, and iPods Touch running iOS 5.0 or higher. Users will also need Airfoil for Mac 4.8 or higher, a free update for all Airfoil 4 users. New users can purchase Airfoil for Mac directly from Rogue Amoeba for just $25.
