2. Fission Blasts On To The Scene!
We first announced our newest product Fission back in June, but it's been in development for much longer. Truth be told, we've been working on Fission for almost all of 2006, so we're thrilled to finally be unveiling it today, right here
Fission is a streamlined audio editor designed to get you editing in minutes, not hours. It works with MP3, AAC, Apple Lossless and AIFF audio, enabling you to instantly trim and split files with no quality loss! It's designed to stand on its own, but it also makes a great companion to Audio Hijack Pro. Use Fission to edit any recordings you make with Audio Hijack Pro!
With Fission, you can break a long recording up, by using split to create multiple files. You can remove unwanted audio, like commercials, from audio you want to keep. Use the fade functions to fade audio in and out, creating a pleasing listening experience. You can even use it to create MP3 and AAC ringtones for your cell phone! 3. Rogue Amoeba T-Shirts
Several years back, we printed up a small batch of Rogue Amoeba t-shirts to use ourselves at corporate events, as well as to sell to anyone who wanted to show off their fine taste in software. When that batch ran out, we never printed more, and now they're a very rare collector's item.
However, we've recently printed up a new t-shirt design, the same one we wore at our booth at Macworld San Francisco 2006. If you're interested, you can read more about our new shirts right here.
