A year ago today, we released Audio Hijack Pro 2, a huge update to our flagship product. Since that time, over half of the users of Audio Hijack Pro 1 have updated to version 2 for just $10, but there are still plenty you using Audio Hijack Pro 1. 2) End Of Life For Audio Hijack Pro 1
On Audio Hijack Pro 2's first birthday, we're also officially ending support for Audio Hijack Pro 1. The latest version of Audio Hijack Pro 2 (version 2.5.6) works on OS X 10.3 and up, and version 2.1.1 is also available for users still using OS X 10.2.8. All users of Audio Hijack Pro who've not yet upgraded to version 2 are encouraged to do so. The upgrade from Audio Hijack Pro 1 to version 2 is just $10 and well worth it. Users can upgrade through our online form.

3) Nicecast 1.8 Available Now
On Monday July 25th, we released Nicecast 1.8, our first major update to Nicecast since last December. This update includes a bevy of new features, as well as some important bug fixes. It's a free update, and we urge all Nicecast to download it now.
What's new, you ask? Well, we've made setup easier than ever - if your router supports UPnP or NAT-PMP, your network will be automatically configured to allow outside access. The update also provides the ability to password-protect your stream and even kick listeners. Other features in Nicecast 1.8 include the new Application Mixer Effects plugin, allowing for audio to be pulled from multiple applications at once, as well as the new System Audio input source, which optionally allows all audio from your Mac to be broadcast. 4) Airfoil 2 In Development
Our newest application, Airfoil, has proven to be quite popular among users of Apple's AirPort Express unit. In fact, it's our fastest- selling application to date, no small feat in the face of competition like Audio Hijack Pro. Due to this intense popularity, we've already begun work on Airfoil 2. Nothing is set in stone, but it appears that this will be a free update to be released before the end of 2005. We hope to add support for our most requested features, including the ability to send audio to multiple Airport Express units as well as audio effects and direct support for Griffin's RadioShark.
