It's been several months since we've sent out an update, in large part because we've been working so hard on Audio Hijack Pro 2. It's finally here, and it is a MASSIVE update. Let's talk features - there are oodles! We've added the oft-requested AAC recording, as well as Apple Lossless (ALAC) recording. We've added ID3 tagging of recordings. We've added a Silence Monitor, to split based on silence or remove it all together. We've added in-app file organization in the Recording Bin. We've even made the Application Enhancers (APE) portion of the app optional (see Instant Hijack). In short, we've added...a lot.

In addition to being a huge update, Audio Hijack Pro 2 also the first paid upgrade we've ever had (in just under 2 years of business). Up until now, we've given away all updates to our software for free. However, this update is such a huge change and took so much time, that we believe a $10 upgrade fee is fair. Hopefully, you will too. If you purchased AFTER May 1, 2004, the upgrade is free, and your code will work automatically. We're not intending to make this a common occurrence, and bug fixes will always be free. I hope that sits well with people - let us know what you think.
