Update (We Screwed Up)

Hey guys! As always, if you want off this list, just hit reply and slap remove in the subject line, and accept our apologies for taking your time. We'll take care of removing you.

As you may have seen earlier today, we released Audio Hijack 2, an update to the original Audio Hijack 1.0-1.6.5. This update is free for registered users of Audio Hijack 1.x, but not Audio Hijack Pro.

Our apologies for emailing you twice in one day. However, we've seen a lot of confusion from you guys. Audio Hijack Pro is still under development, and will see updates in the future, with Audio Hijack Pro 2 coming sometime in the next 3-12 months.

From all our email we realized, we screwed up - it wasn't clear that AH2 was an AH update, and not AH Pro, at least not to many of you. As well, it's true that there is almost no reason to buy both Audio Hijack Pro and Audio Hijack. So, why aren't we giving Audio Hijack away to those of you who pay for Audio Hijack Pro? Well, now, we are! In the next few days or week, we'll be posting an update to Audio Hijack 2, which will accept Audio Hijack Pro codes as a courtesy to all those who have supported us.

So, to summarize, At some point in the next week or so, we'll be updating Audio Hijack to 2.0.1, and part of this update will be that the new version accepts AH Pro codes. There's no reason AH Pro users should pay for AH as well. Stay tuned and don't say we never did anything nice for you.

And just a note, Audio Hijack Pro will NOT accept AH codes, as it offers much more than AH does. Now, have I cleared things up, or muddled them even worse? Only time will tell.
