One of the most popular uses of Audio Hijack is to capture audio from voice chat (or VoIP) applications like Zoom or FaceTime. Audio Hijack includes automatic support for recording from dozens of different voice chat applications. When any supported voice chat app is selected as the source, Audio Hijack records both halves of the conversation without any additional configuration required.

Recording from other applications

It’s still possible to record both sides of a conversation from voice chat applications which are included in this list, by manually adjusting the Advanced settings of Audio Hijack’s Application Source block. The “Default audio capture behaviors” section of this article provides details on the settings that will need to be enabled.
