Voice chat (VoIP) apps automatically supported by Audio Hijack

One of Audio Hijack’s most popular uses is to capture audio from voice chat (or VoIP) applications, particularly Skype. Audio Hijack includes automatic support for over two dozen different voice chat applications. When any supported voice chat app is selected as the source, Audio Hijack records both halves of the conversation without any additional configuration needed.

The following applications are automatically supported for voice chat recording in Audio Hijack:

Other applications

It's still possible to record both halves of a conversation from voice chat applications not included in this list. You'll need to manually adjust the Advanced settings of the Application Source block. The “Default audio capture behaviors” section of this article provides details on the settings that will need to be enabled.
