General
Start Intermission at login: Turn this option on to have Intermission run automatically when you login to your computer. With this on, all audio will be buffered, and you'll always be ready to pause audio or jump back.
Jump Times
Jump Back: This setting adjusts the length of time Intermission will jump back in its buffer when "Jump Back" is selected from its menu, or the keyboard shortcut is pressed.
Jump Forward: This setting adjusts the length of time Intermission will jump forward in its buffer when "Jump Forward" is selected from its menu, or the keyboard shortcut is pressed.
Keyboard Shortcuts
Setting global shortcuts enables you to use Intermission rapidly without needing to access the menu. You'll want to be sure to set unique shortcuts which aren't used by any other applications.
Pause/Resume: This global keyboard shortcut toggles audio playback, pausing if audio is set to play, and resuming playback if audio is currently paused.
Jump Back: This global keyboard shortcut jumps back in the audio buffer by the amount specified in the Jump Times section.
Jump Forward: This global keyboard shortcut jumps ahead in the audio buffer by the amount specified in the Jump Times section.
Jump To Live: This global keyboard shortcut jumps to the present ("Live") in the audio buffer.
Software Update
Automatically check for software updates: With this option activated, Intermission compares itself to the most current version available from our server and alerts you when a new version is available. Leave this on and Intermission will help you stay up-to-date.
