I downloaded your trial version of Airfoil, and after 5 minutes of use found myself reaching for my credit card. What a great little program. I can now listen to my internet radio in my media room…and I can throw away the resource hungry iTunes and listen to my music on my program of choice.

Nice job!

A major problem with Vista's audio engine is that you can't send audio to more than one audio device at once, or switch audio devices dynamically.

Your utility seems like it might be able to solve this problem almost accidentally and sideways--all you have to do is figure how to load an arbitrary number of Vista audio devices, and stick those outputs alongside your existing support for Airports and remote computers. (Per-application levels would be a bonus!)

If you could make this software, you could name your price, seriously. People would beat a path to your door.

If you don't believe me, read these:

The pain just pours off the screen. These people need you.

If the above is too difficult, could you at least consider adding support for Bluetooth A2DP audio? That's a problem (a subset of the above problem) that I'm having with Vista.

THANKS!

Hi, not quite the right place to mention this but I hope you'll forgive me. I've just discovered that a free iphone/Touch app called FStream lets your iPhone or Touch receive a Nicecast stream! I just typed in 192.168.0.10:8000 and bingo, I can stream anything from my mac including my radio scanner hooked up to a usb iMic to my Touch over wifi @ 128k!

Like many I'm anxiously hoping Airtunes speakers will eventually arrive (I'll happily pay good money!) but meantime this is a acceptable stop gap thanks to Nicecast's ease of use.

FStream is a free download in the iTunes store, author's website - http://www.sourcemac.com/?page=fstream
